Flexicar offers Melbournians with a new transport choice – access to a car without the hassles and costs associated with car ownership. Car sharing is an alternative to owning or renting. Members can share a vehicle with others in their area, leaving the registration, insurance and maintenance to Flo.
Flexicar's service revolves around state of the art technology that gives members self-service access to cars using a smartcard. Members book on-line or by phone, then use their smartcard to swipe in and out during the period of their booking.
